This chalkboard was commissioned to be a book cover for the novel Wreathed by Curtis Edmonds. A romantic comedy
about a couple who meet in the most unlikely of places, a funeral.

Mirco Quotes is a series of quote illustrations that are drawn by hand at a small scale and created in various media. This is a personal project. Hopefully these small quotes can have a big impact!

2016

Cuadernos Quick, of Honduras, asked for 8 Spanish quotes illustrated in chalk they could turn into notebook covers. Their direction was to create bold vibrant pieces to tell a story for each quote. I’ve had a pleasure of working with Cuadernos Quick four years in a row.

This was a commissioned piece for a client who desired a logo for his estate. The concept was to create a whimsical and lavish design that would transport the viewer into his world.

This is where Dangerdust originated. Back when Dangerdust was a team duo, one weekend we had an idea to sneak onto campus and illustrate a quote on an empty chalkboard. After that one time we were hooked. We continued illustrating a new quote every week the entire school year, ending up with 24 chalkboard quotes.

Adobe reached out for 8 text-based graphic animations inspired by their two day conference Adobe Max. The conference had a high profile list of creative speakers including Zac Posen, Quentin Tarantino, and Janet Eckleman. They wanted quotes from each speaker to share on social media during and after the event.
